To add, the sensor is two $.01 pieces of plated metal that get litter basically dumped on them with every cycle. So they corrode / get dirty and give tons of false pinch alerts. Sometimes the pinch alert requires a full unplug to reset. I kept finding my LR stuck upside down, leading the cats to find other places to do their messes. Yup, the unit where I just replaced the DFI and pinch kit did this about 1 day after replacement and won't even cycle now. I have another unit with the pinch detect fault so I will try the bypass on that unit. These things are such trash.A week ago, the pinch detector went off, and since then, the device stopped working.
